We were honored to be asked to conduct a workshop at Epicon 2012 in San Antonio. I only hope those who attended our class had as rewarding an experience as we did. The authors and aspiring authors present confirmed our premise that they are interested in producing a quality product in all aspects, and we were lucky enough to have some other editors in the room who contributed their ideas as well.
Independently published books were once thought to be poorly done, and it's taking a little time for the news to spread that those days are done--or nearly so. But as in house published books, there will always be some better than others. Our goal is to be sure that any book Wizards in Publishing has a hand in is the very best it can be.
Cerise DeLand's, A Long Time Comin', from the Toys-4-Us series is #55 on Kindle this morning, and we take great pride in having had a small part in helping this talented author's work to be its best. Congratulations, Cerise!
I was there and the workshop was a killer. Hope everyone who missed it looks WIPup for all their self-pub needs.
